DNTV CEO TAKES TO BALTIMORE STREETS

IMG_6943.JPG

Our CEO & President Cameron Washington took to the streets of Baltmore, Maryland last night to capture the intensity of the current rioting. The riots intesified yesterday after the funeral of Freddie Gray, an unarmed black man who was killed while in police custody. From 10pm to 1:30am Cameron stood in the middle of the riots to capture the true essence of the matter, and the passion of those who were working to stop the violence. "For most of my time there I was standing right between the police line and the rioters," says Washington. "I saw cars set on fire, stores looted, and even had to comfort a woman whose house was on fire." Cameron not only covered the scene with images, but also video which we will soon release. In the midst of chaos there were many who attempted to stop the rioting. "I witnessed the braveness of a woman who literally stood between the police and a man who was taunting them," he says. "Others were holding rioters back and helping to bring calm." These are some of the images he captured last night. We are praying for the city of Baltimore.
